Welcome to The Big Apple and the Burgh!
This site is dedicated to all sports (baseball, football, hockey and whatever else comes our way) in two of the greatest sports towns in the country; New York City and Pittsburgh.
There are two writers on this blog; both of us write sports for our college newspaper. Myself, or Murderers Row (blog name). Named after the 1927 Yankees lineup that tore apart the majors and swept non other than the Pirates in the World Series. I was born in NYC and raised just outside and have lived in the shadow of New York sports ever since.
The other writer is Hot Steel, a Pittsburgh native who literally lives and breathes sports in the Burgh. Its hard to find someone who is more passionate about Pittsburgh than him.

Murderer's Row-
Grew up in the shadow of NYC and has loved everything about New York sports. Named after the notorious 1927 Yankees lineup that included greats like Ruth and Gehrig. More specifically, he is a Mets and Jets fan, however. Yes life would have been easier to be a Yankee and Giants fan. Yes it sucks.
Hot Steel-
As knowledgeable of a Pittsburgh sports maniac as you will find Hot Steel will waste no time telling you Pittsburgh is truly the city of champions. You know how much he loves the 'Burgh? He watches every Pirate game.
